New Character added to Gotham S2 cast

The latest spoiler updates from Gotham writers is the addition of a new character for the September season . According to ENews! Online, Season 2 viewers will be introduced to "Ms Scarlett St. George", a regular character that will be seen throughout the season. Gotham writers indicate that St. George will be "ethereal looking as well as opinionated, beguiling and free spirited". Also hinted was that she will likely focus on someone at GCPD. The ENews! interview also speculated that St. George's focus would be romantic.

Having looked closely at Maria Thayer who portrayed "Scottie Mullins", the phobia victim from "The Fearsome Dr. Crane" episode, I fully expected her to be announced as a regular cast member in season 2. Yet all has been quiet. I was convinced Fox had identified her as Harvey Bullock's love interest for the future. I based this upon Batman DC Comics character definition for Harvey Bullock. Harvey, later in the Jim Gordon/GCPD universe, has a love interest, a widow that captures Harvey's heart. According the to Batman Universe wikipedia, and the various character outlines, Harvey's love interest is supposed to bring out the softer, more lovable version of Bullock. Maria Thayer as "Scottie Mullins" from Season One

Either way, "Scottie Mullins" or "Scarlett St. George" it looks like Harvey or maybe someone else is headed for love.

Gotham Spoilers Season 2 Bruce Wayne becoming Batman

David Masouz to focus in season 2 on developing his dual personality.

According to a entertainment report from Dnaindia.com, David Masouz, the 14 year old actor that plays "Bruce Wayne" in the Fox Network series Gotham, has revealed a major spoiler regarding his character in season 2. Just as in the comic books, and the early Batman television program from the 1960s, Bruce Wayne will begin to carefully shape and scuplt his public relations image. Bruce, at 14 carries the full weight of his family financial empire on his shoulders.

David said his character is going to go through a personality changes early in Season 2.  Bruce, will have the two personas, wearing two different masks. One will be the public relations image of a gregarious student and young businessman learning the ropes of the family business. The other side of Bruce as we all know is Batman. It is his true persona. Batman is the more secretive person who searches for the truth, while trusting very few. Fans understand, that Bruce's only true confidant, now and in the future is Alfred. The final episode of season 1 closed with Bruce finding the entrance to the batcave in his library. Lets hope we will get to see Bruce exploring the secret to the Bat Cave on September 21st, when Gotham Season 2 begins.

Joker and Dr. Fries will be leading antagonists in Gotham Season 2

Gotham season 2 will air this coming fall.  According to the series writer Bruno Heller, Joker and Dr. Fries will start off the new season in September. Cameron Monaghan the actor behind "Jerome" who was introduced in season 1 will appear again in September. Jerome, who later becomes the Joker in later episodes is the young circus roadie who kills his own mother in episode 16.

This episode did not tie up Jerome's arrest or conviction for the crime of murder. Viewers were left to assume that Jerome will be doing time for his admission of guilt. Questions in this fan's mind, will season 2 open with Jerome perhaps escaping from prison? After all, how much of an antagonist would Jerome the younger Joker be if he is locked behind bars.

Dr. Fries will also be another villain that Jim Gordon will encounter early in Season 2. Those that look at DC Comics, and the Batman films, know that Dr. Fries is introduced initially as a man who is desperate to save his dying wife. Its is only after his wife death that Dr. Fries becomes focused on seeking revenge for his wife's death. With these two characters leading Season 2, plus the additional developing backstory of Edward Nygma and Oswald Cobblepot, we can anticipate plenty of surprises in September.

Gotham the hit television series on FX will be back again for a second season.

Rejoice fellow Gotham enthusiasts! Fox executives have signed to a second season of Gotham

Here is the latest on the cast lineup for Season 2:

Fox  has announced the addition of two additional regular cast members. Nicholas D'Agosto (Harvey Dent) will be a regular cast member in season 2. In the first season, Harvey Dent only appeared in two of the episodes.

The second cast member to be added as a regular in season 2 is Chris Chalk who portrays Lucius Fox. In DC Comics, Lucius Fox is the CEO of Wayne Enterprises who brought the company out of financial failure. In the Batman movies, Fox played by Morgan Freeman serves as a confidant of Batman. With Bruce Wayne presently only being a 12 year old adolescence no doubt it will be a few seasons before he approaches Fox for technical guidance in building the Bat Mobile. For those that worry that Bruce is still too young to begin to imagine his Batman persona. Put your worries aside, this kid will be working on his Batman costume by the end of season 2, I just know it.  At the end of episode 22, Bruce finds the entrance to the bat cave in his father's library. We could not have asked for a better ending for Bruce in season one.

Fish Mooney's final battle with Penguin ends in episode 22, where Fish gets thrown from the top of the  building's parapet into the Hudson River below. All of this brings  uncertainty if Fish could have survived such a fall. But remember this is Fish, she tore out her own eyeball. She was also shot while trying to fly a helicopter, and she still survived. This girl has staying power. Despite Fish's fans, one thing is for certain, Fish Mooney, will not be in season 2. Jada Pinkett Smith did not sign for a second year on Gotham. It has been reported that Gotham producer Bruno Heller has said that he hopes that Fish Mooney's character can return in the future.

By the season finale Penguin has declared himself the king of Gotham. Falcone's declaration that he is retiring leaves a power vacuum in his wake. Fans will be wondering who will be the next bad guy or bad girl to throw their hat into the ring.  Edward Nygma will further deteriorate mentally until he quits his position at GCPD and embraces the Riddler. The Joker has already appeared once in season one, we will be seeing more of him in the future. Let us not forget the further corrupted Selena Kyle, who as Bruce pointed out committed murder by pushing Reggie out the window. This fan expects to see more of the formation of Cat Woman in the next season.
